Eucalyptus Essential Oil

Because of the many influential compounds found in eucalyptus, it is a key ingredient in cough and throat medicines and chest ointments. Eucalyptus is used widely both for its calming and clearing properties as well as to ease breathing.
Properties: Antibacterial, analgesic, anti-infectious, anticatarrhal, antiviral, anti-inflammatory, expectorant and insecticidal.
Possible Uses: Eucalyptus essential oil, combined with bergamot

essential oil has been effective on the herpes simplex virus. It may also help with bronchitis, acne, endometriosis, ear inflammation, hay fever, flue, iris inflammation, high blood pressure, sinusitis and vaginitis.
Application:
- Topically – Can be applied neat. Apply to reflex points or directly to area of concern. Dilute with a ratio of 1:1 for those with sensitive skin.
- Aromatically – Diffuse.
